Selena Marie Gomez, conocida simplemente como Selena Gomez, nació el 22 de julio de 1992 en Grand Prairie, Texas, Estados Unidos, es una actriz y cantante estadounidense de ascendencia mexicana e italiana. Sus padres decidieron llamarla así por su fanatismo a la fallecida cantante de TexMex, Selena.

Comenzó su carrera en el año 2002, siendo parte del elenco infantil de Barney & Sus Amigos. Tuvo apariciones en películas como "Mini Espías 3" y "Walker, Texas Rangers", y en las series "Zac & Cody: Gemelos en Acción" y "Hannah Montana", antes de obtener su gran protagónico en la serie de Disney Channel: "Los Hechiceros de Waverly Place", donde su carrera explotó.

Lanzó 3 álbumes bajo el nombre de Selena Gomez & The Scene entre 2009 y 2011, con temas exitosos como "Naturally", "Love You Like A Love Song" y "Who Says".

Posteriormente, ha llevado una carrera en solitario publicando 4 nuevos discos, en un período de 8 años, entre los cuales ha obtenido los hits: "Come & Get It", "Hands To Myself", "Boyfriend", "Lose You To Love Me”, entre otros.

El 12 de marzo de 2021 estrenó Revelación, un EP con 6 canciones completamente en español. Además de un track en colaboración con Dj Snake, en spanglish titulado Selfish Love. El primer sencillo fue De Una Vez. Posteriormente lanzó el tema Baila Conmigo en colaboración con Rauw Alejandro.
